    Where to relocate voltage regulator w/kanaflex 4"

    where have you who use the 4" kanaflex system remounted the voltage regulator? what did you use for a mounting bracket?

    either zip tied it to the tank straps or use/copy the flat alloy plate riva sell which fits onto the battery mounting stud and the reg screws onto the plate(rxp)

    if you removed the stock air ducting your tank straps are now too long, put a piece of 4" PVC pipe in to take up the slack and attach the regulator to the pipe with a couple of screws.

    pvc pipe trick, worked great. use self tapping sheet metal screws, SS , will drill right into the pvc and hold tight.

    I took a flat piece of aluminum and made my own mounting bracket..I mounted it right to the battery hold down..

    I just left the tank part of the old air intake in the ski.

    I left the tank straps on..Then I ran the Kanaflex under the straps.....And have had no issues with the tank moving..

    My tank staps pulled tight enough to told the tank without any problems, I mounted my regulator to the hull. I drilled 2 holes and mounted it with long screws, I used a double nut to keep the regulator from toucking the fiberglass
