I was burning out chargers every 5-10 hours untile i finally listened to my mechanic and changed over to the rotax system. It is not cheap but i have had zero issues since i switched over.Had to machine the pto cover on both my 07 rxp and my 08 x model.I wish one of the aftermarket companies would sell a charger with this system since you cannot run a stock shaft once you make this mod.

I saw the shaft kit and it only has one spring washer.
I 'm wondering how it will hold the slip with just one washer?
08 shaft or Rotax Racing

I will take a stab at it but a racer or someone who uses it could give more info.
As I understand it there are no clutches to wear out with the abuse the SC takes during racing and it holds the slip with oil pressure. I could be wrong though

the ROTAX RACING shaft /PTO 3rd bearing KIt, works just like the orginal OEM cluch kit. but it has 2 additional function
- 2 oil supply and lubrication nozzles
- 3rd bearing at the end of the SC shaft to eliminate "flex" of the SC shaft
one more advantage is with the ROTAX RACING kit you "set" the clutch slipmoment like you want , 10,15,20 lbf just like you wat to have the slipmoment. on the OEM 04-08 shaft you can only messure the slipmoment. ( offcourse you can also set the moment, messing around with new and old spring washers, shimming the clutch e.t.c) but thats not what you do, if you are going for a world champion titel on a seadoo PWC.
I have used the ROTAX system on many raceboat setups that i build, and there was never a issue, but allways perfekt slipmoment. we offer the machining service for free for our customer, but you can also get a instruction and have your local machineshop do the work. you need to insert a "helicoil" in the old PTO oilspray location.
