dess post is a magnetic switch i think. the post part is stuck on. with the key off, tap the post a few times with the handle of a screwdriver.
see if it wont start anymore.
since its new , dealer should replace DESS post with new, and reprogram keys under warranty.

Are you saying that when you remove the key from the post it does not automatically shut off?

Don't fall off your ski! It'll leave you in it's wake.

    Too late LOL

My friend had to take me in my ski to get it. I kinds felt like if I was the stunt double in a 007 movie just doing the stunt at 2 mph, not 100

Hopefully they get that all fixed up...just imagine if the throttle would stick and you fell off...an X could do alot of damage hitting something at WOT!

Wonder if seadoo would be liable for something like that since its new and defective?

most likely you could do something - it happened with the computer reading 0 hours, must have been not even 30 minutes into riding for the first time.

What ever, ski is at the dealership. i just hope i get it back by this weekend, riding is a blast!
