Pump seal ?
Will I cavatate if I don't seal the stator to the impeller housing? I change props so much that its a hassle having to clean and reseal every time.

I've done fernando's seal job, but just the seal between the stator and impeller housing is what i'm asking about.

threebond 1211 inbetween your transom/impellor housing/stator section and nozzles

it could easily go either way.
If it doesn't leak, then nothing.
If you develop a small air leak, it will heat up the liner and possibly seperate it from the housing.
My advice is to keep your "testing" time to just that. Once you get what you are looking for, seal it up.
