First ride day of the season

I know I know, most of ya'll live on the gulf and never put your skis up. The UNLUCKY bastards like me have to put them up over the winter. When is everyones first ride day? Do ya'll do it at random depending on weather?

I was thinking about going out today for a little, but it was windy and about to rain. It was in the low 80's. Hopefully the time will come soon!

I went out a couple weeks ago when the weather hit 65ish. Water was cold as hell but im glad I got rid of the cabin fever. I was going to go last friday when it was nearly 70 but i had a road trip to make. I usually go when the air temp is warm enough and the wind is not so bad.

Haven't quit riding yet, just other hobbies get in the way, such as atv's and motorcycles. Living in Fl is awesome in the winter.

Well, I was planning on being able to go for a quick (but cold) ride over spring break (next week), but it looks like I'll be hitting the mountain instead. Just under 5 in. and 14 degrees.
