Thats going to be an expensive mistake

So I finally got around to installing my home made air intake & freeflow exhaust & what a rush. Sound was not bad at all, sounds a little meaner. But the acceleration was phenominal & my top speed increased by 2mph. My last run actually hit 69.4 with two bars of fuel but I read that as I got back to the dock so i did not duplicate it. I was able to pull off two runs of 68.6 which is 2mph better than my old best of 66.6 when it was stock. Anyways yes I know it's nothin close to what the guys are getting with the maifold kit & bigger wheels but damn it felt great & now I want more, and I have a feeling it's going to get expensive...Click image for larger version.

good results. So I take it you were able to find everything you needed.
You will see another gain if you do the Riva intake upgrade as well, and not too expensive either.
I ordered a mandrel bent 3" pipe for my homemade intake to replace the one I had bent today. I also ordered a intake upgrade for a friends ski that I will start modding for him as well.

That & the intake grate will be next. I will redo both the intake & exhaust in aluminum when I can find it, but for now I am happy...

Welcome to the darkside. The mods you're doing have made a big difference in my ski. Lot's of bang for the buck.

I can take some photos tonight, but it's nothing special. The special part is that I saved around $300 doing this myself.
