Considering Yamaha PWC
I have a Polaris 3up PWC and I'm considering a Yamaha 3up or a Honda 3up any tips or advice? My son will use it for wakeboarding and skiing.

New or used? 2-stroke or 4-stroke? How much do you plan to spend?

which ever craft you choose, I would opt for a 4-stroke. Better fuel economy as well.
the Yamaha motors are very reliable. You may want to find a dealer that will allow you to water test them to help decide. Look at the ergonomics also to help decide on your height to see if you are comfortable if you decide to take a long ride.
Just speaking on the Yamaha's I've ridden, they are very coomfortable. Also, don't be afraid to look at the SeaDoo's. they are extremely comfortable when it comes to ergonomics as well.

The Ficht fuel injected domestic engines are quite good on fuel, and the engines still have the 2-stroke simplicity. The two cylinder models have the most modest fuel consumption (95-100hp).
If you will actually have three people on board, the Polaris Genesis (four person capacity rating) is more stable and roomier than many 3 seaters, yet is still a reasonable overall size (131", 625lbs dry weight, 600 lbs passenger capacity).
