    Looking to buy a gp1300r

    Can any owners list the year/hours and any problems theyve had with them(if any) and if you had mods done or not..

    2007 with 86 hours. cylinders were shipped for porting. prior to that i had zero complaints and zero trouble. if you maintain the ski it will run for a long time.

    2007 GPR with 185 hrs cylinders off getting ported, replacing pistons and rings, I'm told the pistons usually are good for 100 hrs. Make sure you get the pump tunnel reinforced and an aftermarket intake grate to start.

    Mods on my ski: Raised compression, riva tuner, 4 degree timing key, reeds, D plate, Riva filter, Solas impeller, Intake grate, and custom ride plate, All installed and tuned by WFO.

    THe 03 is the only ski that Had a defect, The pump shoe needed to be upgraded. this was the first year of the lighter hull. if you get a 05 or later you don't have power valves that are prone to failure. but power valves are called that for a reason.

    what is the problem with the pump shoe on the 2003 model and what need to be done to solve the problem?
