    Charging system question?

If I want to check the charge going in to the battery, if I put my meter in line after the ski is running to the negative side of the battery. How many amps should I get. say at 2000 rpms? 3.18?

    According to the manual:

    Lower limit voltage @2,000 r/min, Volts = 7.9

Voltage Regulator Lower limit voltage output @2,000 r/min, Volts = 12.6

    Minimum charging current @ 6,000 r/min, AMPS = 9

so, yes I would think at 2,000 rpm you should see about 3 amps

Yes I was reading the manule but just didn't get the 9amps @ 6000 rpms. I would not do that to my engine on hose. I don't suspect a problem. Just gathering data... ok I was screwing around. but it was cool to learn..
