It's confirmed. FZR has flame arrestor (ribbon)
There has been some controversy as to whether or not the FZR has the flame arrestor ribbon that the SHO had. It definitely has it. After getting this thing out and having a good look at it I can't believe the engine performs as well as it does with this restrictive device. Installing the manifold upgrade kit should really let this thing breathe.

Hard to believe it can actually get any kind of air through that piece. Should make a big diiference without it.
When is the next test ride?

Curious? Wonder why RD said it didn't so no intake upgrade was needed...
BTW, RD has added some stuff to their site tonight
