Thread: injector testing

i found a place right near me that does injector flow and spray pattern testing for pretty cheep. Any one think there would be a gain on getting them tested? i always heard your supposed to remember which injector goes with what cyl. if this is true then there would be no gain by rotating arrangment of the injectors?

The injection pulse width is set with a tolerance so if and when any injectors may not flow 100% correctly the AFR will still be with in limits.the joys of mass produced products
How ever tolerances will not allow for a injector that is only flowing 50%
So to answer you question unless they are stuffed or you are chasing a lean AFR problem, having them flow tested will gain nothing
other than telling you the condition of them,
I wouldnt expect any probs this early though!
