Oil in SC intake and IC

Hey guys, I pulled my SC out today to check the slip moment and found oil in my intake and IC pipes/IC.

I do have the 08 SC clutch kit but my housing is a Rude 1 so I do not have that oiler hole.

My guess is that the seal behind that SC impeller is leaking but before I pulled my SC apart to check i wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue before?

Oil in the IC pipes seems to happen with higher than stock revs (above 8200) and bigger boost.
It happened on two ET 137 SC I have run

This is usually the early warning that the supercharger bearings have excessive play.
Bearings will not last 50 hours @ high rpm.

oil in sc intake and ic

have you checked your oil level? Dropped my rxp in for a service, when i got it back took seat off to clean same and found oil everywhere.Did some homework in greenhulk archieve, found oil filled to top mark on dipstick at service.this creates blow-by in breather and oil ends up in intake to sc.I had a BOV fitted and oil was misting from same.most people on here recommend running just over 1/2 way on dipstick.hope this helps

Hey guys, I do have a catch can, hardly anything in it. Oil level was perfect when I installed my RUDE with the new 08 clutch kit... now oil level is down to the bottom indentation after 7 hours of use.

I cant understand how the bearings could be bad since the clutch kit comes with new bearings and I just installed them with the kit.

Now mind I had a solid 40 hours on my RUDE before I installed my 08 clutch kit and never had oil in my IC/Intake.

At this point I dont know what to do. I appreciate the help guys!
