x model sponsons differnt from standard models?

I was looking yestersday on the online store and noticed the RXPX/RXTX sponsons have a differnt part number than the standard model RXP/RXT. Whats the difference? I jhave a set for the standard model but if their different or wont fit I guess I cant/wont use them.
    Thanks
