Do the 4" kanaflex front air. It flows better then any other air intake mod and is far cheaper. You'll get a solid 150 rpm gain and there's your 1 mph.

Pull the intake off and remove the Flame Arrestor...1 hour of elbow grease, gain boost, which is gain in power, which is more speed......repitch prop accordingly.

Better than any front intake...maybe. Not better than any other.

Do you have data to back that up?

You have to run the rear air WITHOUT the filter element to achieve better air flow then the kanaflex front air. If you drag race, I could see where the risk is worth the gain but for rec riders that want extra performance without risking their very expensive engine to water ingestion, I just don't see it. Even with the filter element, the risk of water ingestion is very high. What is the rpm gain of a rear air vs. front air setup?

I want to know what the story is with the Rear Air... I am a flat water guy but occasionally i get wet and so does my ski....does anyone here have one and can verify that any water can get in the Rear air or is their another kind of waterproof element you can use?

I run rear air on my RXP without element but i am all out drag or grudge racing.

If you do what is in your avator, you will ingest water with rear air.

You can do the 4" kanaflex front air w/filter and you should be safe. Do a search on 4" front air and follow the directions.
