    grease for driveshaft bearing on rxp 04

    new to the forum ..is there a bearing on the driveshaft behind the carbon seal that needs to be greased? and if so how do i grease it-as there is no fitting thanks mike

    No you don't grease it! It gets some oil to it via the pto houseing.

    as far as i know i do not add oil it takes grease in the pump cone

    I would start by reading the Owners Manual for the recommended maintenance. If you don't have it, download it from Sea-Doo.com in the Owners Section. If you just bought the ski, I would quickly determine if it still has the "prone-to-fail" ceramic SC clutch washers and change them ASAP... Ron

    thanks ron my supercharger is being rebuilt by jerry now as we text .and i have the service man. but could not find info relating to that.
    i will go through it again. i was hoping someone here has done this alot and could give me an answer. i know my waverunner has a grease fitting that easy to access mike

    Yes, there are no grease fittings on any of the 4-TEC skis... Ron

    no grease fittings, ZERK fittings.
    none on a 4tec.
    older seadoos, had them on PTO. some other skis have them.
    only grease on 4tecs is inside the pump cone, cone held on with 3 allen bolts.
