Thread: how to ID jugs?

    how to ID jugs?

I need to clean out my garage and liquidate some of this stockpile of parts that came with the slth1200 project. I have at least a dozen spare jugs in various conditions that I know I don't need. What's the best way to identify their application so I can actually tell people what I have? I know there are some 1050 and 1200 and probably a 900 or two in there.

I guess I also need to figure out what of the other stuff actually goes to my two boats.

And maybe decide if I'm every actually going to use the triple pipes...

Yeah. Seemed like a good idea to buy the project at the time. Shortly after I left my job, took a new job in Austin, stayed there for about 7 months while all this stuff sat in storage and then my company decided to transfer me. I don't see myself having time to ride these babies let alone fix them.

You could check part #'s here- http://parts.polarisind.com/Advanced...ncedSearch.asp

You probably need to measure the cylinders to figure out if they are standard or oversized (bored)

This confuses me. Did the 97 just use taller domes with the same size cylinders as the 900?

For some reason,Polaris combined parts lists for the 900 & 1050.You need to read closely, there are 2 different sizes. The 3021007 is 74.5mm for the 96-97 900.
