Rxt conversion pump suport from rxp?
Maybe is a stupid question but does some put on RXT ski the pump suport and shaft from the RXP?

churras, I believe you are asking if an RXP pump support (shoe) and RXP drive shaft can be installed in an RXT... Yes, they can.
It doesn't seem to make sense, but the RXP shaft is longer than the RXT shaft. It has nothing to do with the lengths of the skis, but rather the difference in "set-back" of the two ski's pump supports (a 40 mm difference).
BUT, the shaft will need to have a new retaining clip groove cut into it (simple procedure in a lathe), the RXT hull will need some transom holes opened up a bit (one needs to be sealed off), and an intake grate needs to be fabricated (extend the arms of an RXP grate to the length of an RXT grate).
If one were to use RXT/P-X components (pump support and drive shaft) the grate issue would be resolved, but you would end up with a larger pump tunnel opening. This isn't a bad thing for acceleration, but may hinder top speeds when approaching 80.
Now, the real beauty of this conversion is the ability to incorporate one of the after-market pump extension kits for an additional 2" set-back...

I came back to correct myself and saw that 05limited beat me to it.I had it bassackwards, the RXP has a LONGER shaft then the RXT. My bad..........

Yes 05LIMITED.....that´s what i wanted, 40 mm set back on RXT, i think you have already try´d this conversion....what transom holes are you saying about?
