    Cant buy Seadoo's in Baltimore

Just heard on the Radio that Cycle World on Rt.40 and Ritchie Hwy are no longer a Seadoo franchise. Last time I checked they were like the only 2 shops that sold them in the area to begin with.

Wow, I would think that there would be lots of business on the Bay. I grew up on the Magothy river many years ago... Ron

It seems that Sea Doo is cracking down on its dealers.
Number of dealers went out at the end of the year here in Jersey too

I think that the dealers are leaving SeaDoo, not the other way around.

I think the dealers are running into finacial money issues and can't afford the seadoo product any longer

Yea i didnt hear about the cycle world in Severn Park, but the ones in Rosedale and Brooklyn are getting rid of all their Seadoo stuff. Even parts and accessories from I have been told. The Next closest dealer is in Talbot or DC.

Pete's Cycle is not Cycle world, I dont even remembering them even selling PWC. I though they only sold ATV's and Dirtbikes, being Ive never seen a PWC at the location on Belair Rd in Baltimore.

Dealers' floor plans are probably killing them off. They ordered product, put it on the floor LAST year and borrowed to pay for it and can't because the economy crashed so quickly and sales may be down. Now look at this year. NO ONE knows what's going on with the economy so dealers probably aren't buying product because they probably will have problems selling and won't be able to pay the floor plan. It's my understanding from a dealer friend of mine that the manufacturers, whether bikes, sleds, quads or skis are brutal on dealers depending on sales. The manufacturers don't care how bad the dealer has it. Their attitude is F.U. pay me. Bad sales last year? Here's a penalty for you. F.U. pay me. Oh yeah, and no product for you. And oh yeah, F.U. pay me.
