    Im Stumped !! 99 SLTX 1050

    On the Hose she run's like a raped ape !! Under load she wont make 4000 rpms new seals, carbs redone all old fuel lines replaced, oiler removed and plated, gas/oil mixture correct and readjusted timing can anyone guide me in a new direction !!
    The History on this craft is as follows I bought it with #1 cyl over heated and scored the rings,sleeve and piston(all replace when rebuilt) after reading other articles im kinda leaning for the Stator but i have spark plus a new battery so now im lost has anyone seen this before or know the fix !! let me know and thanks for looking !!!

    Does the MFD work?
    Any warnings or red lamp showing?

    Compression good in all cylinders?

    Yes the engine has been rebuilt from the bilge up !!! great compression have thought i check all the Obvious and yes MFD Works and no alarms and i also tryed the reset the get home thing too for low fuel oil and hi temp

    This statement is kind of confusing. Can you clarify that?
    You said you removed the oil pump and are running premix. Did you remove the oil tank? If not, is there oil still in it? Also you might want to open the high spd adjusters a little to compensate for the premixed fuel.

    yes i am running a premix,pump gone !! you think that would help ? are the high speed adjusters load based ??

    There are no high speed adjusters on the Keihin carbs

    Does the MFD show an oil level?
    What level does it show for the oil (Full, nearly Empty)?

    What is the fuel level on MFD?

    According to the downloadable 1999 SLTX Service Manual (page 292) only an overheat signal will trigger the 4500 RPM limiter.

    But Low oil, Low fuel, AND overheat will all trigger the MFD red LED warning. The overheat sensor is usually mounted on the exhaust manifold (Tan color wire).

    the oil level and the fuel level are normal i think we are getting of page here my problem is a loading problem and all of the questions are great but have already checked those issues out.. Please any other suggestions
