    Lifter wedges

Thinking about getting lifter wedges because I mostly ride offshore... what's your opinion on the best lifter wedges to get? Also should I just get one 24" set, or run then down the whole ski?

also, what kind of riding position do you use when on long choppy runs?

24" is good for me. I have size 12 foot though. If you go with wedges, you almost have to wear some kind of heafty water shoe, as it’s a strong hard foam. Mine are ran on the outside portion of my tray. Some people run on the inside of the tray. Personal prefrence I guess. Hydroturf sells the wedges, and they are not that expensive. www.hydroturf.com

Riding Offshore I tend to stand when I ride, but I also sit at times, just really depends on the distance. I tend to never stay in one position very long. Sit, stand, sit, stand…ETC..etc….Thats just me though.
You’re a So Cal gal..You should come do one of the offshore races...

    Here's mine.
I cut the top edge so they didnt hang over the top. But they sit level with the floor.

Keeps your feet locked in the tray. Thus enabling you to feel more confident of you not flying off in the rough stuff! Mod is good for 2-3 MPH…(over what you currently ride in the rough)

    http://hydroturf.com/products.php?ca...rf&page=2&feat=

    Hydro-Turf Side Lifter Wedges - 2.5" x 24"
Part Number: TS44 Great when used for racers & beginner freestylers.
Provides the "wedge" you need. Available in Black only. Comes with a self-adhesive backing, but use with contact cement for an even stronger hold.
    Price $30.00

I love the lifter wedges.......I consider them a must for fast offSHOre riding in the rough........here's a video I did awhile ago.....mmkayyy......

Basically gives you 4 contact points on the ski instead of two (your hands).......anything to save energy on those long rides...
