    Thumbs up 2000 GPR Top Speed ~ 74.6mph (8-14-11)

I took my GPR out today for some top speed runs, I recorded a best of 69.0 MPH with a half a dozen or so runs up and down the river to back it up. I was hoping that I will reach 70 this summer, I now think that I will.

I am still running the stock prop. I have a tiny tach on order. Then I will know what RPM I am turning. Can someone recomend a prop and what RPM should I turn it at?

you want to be around 7100 rpm i'm guessing that you will be higher. you didn't list any mods so i wouldn't be sure.

You will be at 70 easy. A prop or 800 grate will get you there. Good Job.

Thanks man, For the first time on the river this year with this ski, it really impressed me. This is what I want to do next, Send my Riva plate to JIM.
get a 13/19 Riva setback prop. Install an 800 grate.
I ride long top speed river runs. I am not at all worried abought (out of the gate performance).I want it set up for wide open long river runs in smooth water.. Somebody led me in the right direction on these 3 thing

Ski will run same speed with stock grate verus 800 grate.
13/19 will only add 1 mph over stock prop.
You need to spend the money and upgrade to the newer
style pump and 14/20 Dynafly prop. You could easy get the boat
in the 73 to 74 mph range with a Jim's plate.
