guys I wes wondering if we could get an idea of longevity of different reeds. Not off tap personal opinions or whether they will get you straight to 85mph, just expected and noted hours before replacement.
I have always fitted the carbontech reeds to the yam 1200 / 1300 motors, have notice about 50 - 70 good hours out of them before performance wanes.
question is, what others are people using and what life expectancy / longevity have they?
thought this could help with selections for different applications.
oh, I use RIUS reeds in my race boat but change at 20 hours.

I love my carbon techs! and I run reed spacers in all my boats to help reed life I only wander from carbon tech if I find a deal like my VF2's and my Boyesen rad valves
