    Thru Hull with keeping OPAS

    Hey guys i want to do a thru hull and i want to keep my opas yes i know its dumb put i do alot of wakeboarding and tubing and its nice to have at slower speeds for that, i was wondering if anyone has done this yet and if there is a different kit that u need for it please help me out.

    Many have done it... but it also depends on what type of exhaust system you want to run The thru-hull fitting needs to be mounted higher... obviously

    I have heard a few cases of it being done, but even if you can get it fit the question is are you small enough to get back there and get er tightened up on that couch from the inside,.

    Once you have ditched the OPAS then you access all the fittings from out side the hull with Block off removed.

    THink about it if you havnt. YOu can try to remove the opas then install exhaust and then reinstall opas but that will be a task.

    To install from the inside of ski you have to be able to reach back there and tighten up the clamps. You can install the coupler on thru hull fitting with exhaust out if you can reach it, but then to tighten the clamp on exhaust pipe to coupler is impossible unless you have long arms or somehow can reach back there.

    well is there any gain to running the stock box out the back as to the side with the free flow.

    Nope!!! Resonates like hell at 3500 rpm though in the pump tunnel

    Very little if any IMO in performance.

    Better sound, and my favorite is I dont have exhaust carbon all over my pump.
    I pull my pumps alot.

    well how much louder would it be thru hull cause i am at the max almost for the like i ride most of the time before they get suspicious
