    Opas filter and stock intercooler

As i always drive to salt sea i would like to know if it is necessary to take out the stock intercooler for better cleaning than the everyday flush i always do after the ride. I own a gtx ltd 07 and never took out the intercooler for inspection/cleaning. Is it something i have to do?

Also is it difficult to clean the opas filter?

    Thank you for any answer.

I ride in salt 100% of the time too and my internal intercooler sprung a leak at the end on one of the joints thus causing water vapour ingest which i swar to this day made the ski quicker as it was like water injection because of the small leak however when it got worse it ran lumpy until i took it out and re-soldered it this is not wat you want especially with salt!! so i would def take out once a year end of season and put some coil clean through it n make sure its all clean and free from blockages because there is no strainer on the inlet unless you have put one there. Hope this helps, Regards Daz
