    Engine Swap Question

I have an 03 GTXsc with a bad 185 engine. I have access to an 05 215 complete with harness and all sensors. Will I have to change the ECM and have anything reprogrammed. I am also considering doing this swap on an 05 155na boat as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take a look at jpeconsults thread about upgrading a 185-hp engine to a 215-hp engine. IIRC, assuming that you have a complete 215-hp engine you will need at least the ECU w/lanyards, driveshaft/pump/impeller, FPR, and exhaust system (if you want to remove the '03 2-waterbox system). I might have left some things out. Jeremy, help me out... Ron

I figured the prop would have to be repitched. Is the drive shaft different? Will the stock waterbox work? I know its not the best but can we use it? Does the fuel pressure reg have to be changed?
