Are you trying to supply water for the Jetworks?

The Riva cooling block will work, or just drill and tap the plate that comes with the ride plate.

thanks, is there any advantage or disadvantage to using the strainer vs. pulling water straight from the head like I have seen on some other ski's?

Sorry to get off topic. Does it hurt to run the block off plate without jetworks?

The block off plate comes with jims plate (the one we are talking about) so you get clearance for the angled ride plate. So NO it will not hurt anything.

hello r33pwrd, If you are going to run a jet mod. Take the block off plate i sent you drill it & tap it and put a 3/8 barb 90 degree 1/8 npt fitting and you will be all set.

The point of getting water directly from the pump instead of other places (like the head) is that you have a water line dedicated to nothing but delivering a supply of high pressure water to the pipe. This is important for a couple of reasons: cooling the exhaust as it exits and creating back pressure.
The job is much cleaner and the water pressure is much higher and consistent than if we were to get it at the head.
