    GPS Mount for 06 RXT

Looking to do some long distance riding. What is the best way to mount a gps to an 06 rxt and which unit would you recommend?

Get the glove box cover for a GTX and use a Garmin 76-based GPS. It fits in the recess in the glove box cover. It's part #295100283. Garmin has many versions of the GPS 76... Ron

IF you have a garmin series GPS heres what Me and many other forum members have done on their skis..Mine are RXPs BUT seeing how the handlebars are the same on a "P" to a "T" it wont make a differance..I bought the mount off ebay for 16.00...

I agree, get the optional glove box and a Garmin based 76 unit. I have the 76CSx, which basically means it floats and is water resistant and shock proof. I was a little doubtful of the "snap in" holding in rough water, but it's a perfect fit and I have not been disappointed in the least.

I suggest getting the SeaDoo GTX Limited glove box for the Garmin 76 series. GPS is great and looks great. Just be sure you get the lid and bottom. I found mine on e-bay for about $60 for both brand new. Much better than my rigged up mount I had before.

I dont have a current pic of mine but here is a stock photo.

You can find it in the online OEM store section. Look in the GTX Limited parts catalogue.

I did the GTX setup last week, the 76 series fits perfect and will not fall out.I did forget to orfer the decals which i like hte look of,so i ordered them last night.
I also bought the 76CSx from West Marine for 400,
I also purchased their insurance plan for 50 more that lets you walk into any west marine and swap it if it messes up

I know the online store has it as well, but here is something I found with a quick search on Google for GTX GPS glovebox and lid. I have the Garmin 76CX and love it. Its color and has great features.
Here is a link to the GPS
