    260x from downunder

Hey Everyone…picked up my ultra 260 a couple of weeks ago and so far have clocked up 10 hours on it.
I’ve spent many many hours at ‘work’ J reading this forum trying to absorb all the info you guys share.

Thanks Skip for your detailed instructions on fitting the UMI steering – it was very easy having your instructions to follow, along with the pics.
I love the look and feel of the new steering and bars.

I’d also like to thank Jerry ‘4 tec’ performance for his awesome service. I ordered some parts from him and they were delivered to Australia in 3 working days..!!! Man, if I had ordered locally it would’ve taken over a week – hahahah.

Unfortunately downunder we won’t be seeing the green and black 260 (which is my fav color combo) so I ordered the black and silver/blue – have removed most stickers and am having the silver painted kawa lime green in the next couple of weeks. Just trying to work out the paint code.

Other than that, I’ve been giving it heaps in the ocean and loving it..never thought the landings would be so soft on a couch..!!!

BTW – In regards to my username – You’re probably wondering what the hell an ‘ultra 233’ is?? Well I couldn’t think of a name so the ‘233’ part came from the name of my boat.

    Regards,
    Shane

    Thanks for the welcome guys....
I'll post up some pics when I get home tonight...although it looks pretty much standard apart from the bars.
Beagleman, I like that name but unfortunately it looks like someone else had dibs on it...damn
Thanks nicjak, I'll def join you guys on some rides...I take it by your location you'd spend a bit of time in and around WP?
