    I want a MATRIX!!

    Can't stand it any more!

I've been member of this forum for 2 years now!

Listened to all you Matrix owners boast about your experiences with this version of my MSX!

Viewed with envy all your posted pics of updated motor and Factory pipe addons!

Love my MSX; Just wish she was a MATRIX!!!

It just sucks living in the town where the MSX was created and not having a chance to enjoy the ultimate expression of Rob's (Robrady) http://www.robrady.com/marine.html creation!

While back talking to the guys at Factory Pipe about purchasing exhaust system! They said they would never make any more unless order was for at least 50!

SO! I know from the 2 years time I've spent sitting here reading and viewing other MSX owners love for this craft. As well as the recent upsurge in interest of the Matrix; since Pirate out-classed other "New Production PWC's" in his recent win's out west on Casper the Matrix!

I figure maybe there might be some guys interested in going in on a large purchase from Factory Pipe!

ANYBODY ELSE FEEL THE NEED FOR SPEED!

They are a nice rare watercraft but you do realize that a triple pipe Virage TX will out perform a Matrix in all aspects except in rough water riding.

    Hi Scott!

Sorry to take so long to get back! Since all my craft are land-locked due to leaky seal on MSX and both Virage Tx and Txi are being turned to one triple piped bad ass project ski!

It's such a pretty spring day here in sunny Sarasota! I was pulled out of house by fiancé and took the bikes out to Siesta key to ride and have lunch and a few daiquiris at local beach bar

I have the best of all polaris's watercraft save not having owned a Pro!

I can tell you your wrong on your thinking a Virage is badder than a MSX in ride ability!

There two completely different animals! That's why I have both!

Scott! Didn't you read my last thread on the origins of the MSX! It was born on this local water! Designed to ride the crap water change from flat to 6 ft chop and keep you happy and not beat up while doing it!

I just feel robbed by Polaris at never having the chance to own the Ultimate version of my MSX!

I could probably bug rob to find those test models Matrix's hiding somewhere here in Florida. (According to 785Lugs http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...t=87476&page=2 #13 thread response!) But I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be for sale!

So now that Baxter ended his matrix project assembly! I have no choice but to build my own Matrix!

Figure the Sharp's custom big bore motor monster
Throw in some 48 or 50 mm big breather Novi-Tec carbs
    re-wire for Non-ECU
    change rideplate to 04 model
little bit of this and that to beef up steering and handling

Oh yea that leaves me with 1 major PROBLEM! PIPES!!!

SO! Unless one of you guys out there can find me a set of Matrix custom Factory pipes; I'm on a mission here to get some MADE!!!

Come On! No one out there interested in beefing up the ponies your MSX!

I did say the MSX has better ability in rough water riding. However, I have ridden both and there is no way in my mind that an MSX/Matrix is going to out-run a Virage TX of a comparable hp except in rough water. Just the shear size and weight differences should make that apparent. The Virage TX will out turn, out accelerate and beat it on top end by 3-5mph depending on hp and setup. What ride ability other than rough water do you feel the MSX has over the Virage TX? I think you will be very surprised once you get the Virage TX into a set of pipes.

OK Scott I'll agree that my Virage has better handling than the MSX in smooth water!

But! The MSX will run circles around Virage in anything over 2 ft chop!
My Virage has 12 vane skat pump with 7.0 Nujet prop, Beach House sponsons (By the way Beach House is also made here is Sarasota) and OP ocean rideplate! It still had me beat to hell in any thing over 5ft! Like riding a banshee!

But for side by side full out speed run the MSX with 250hp motor and special larger pump and prop is designed to reach 87+ max speed and stay glued to water! This is by rob's calculations based on it's Dihedral Velocity hull lift design on Sarasota's bay! (That in 1 to 2 ft chop!) This is why Rob called the MSX a GPR killer!

The fastest I've ever heard a Virage get to is 74! (And thats on flat river water!)

The Virage hull is limited to a lower top speed compared to the MSX hull unless you do some big time tunnel work to the hull, put what ever you want in engine size and preformance parts but it will be limited to only how much water the tunnel can process, Casper the Matrix even with an R&D grate is still faster than any Virage has gone that I've ever seen from posts on here and thats even with the 1mph gain I would get riding any of them
    Look 1408 posts LOL
