I want a MATRIX!!

DrBones, Sharps Marine had some Matrix cylinders cut for exhaust valves. I'm not sure what ever happended to the project.

FYI- Buy a Matrix already completed (I know where there is 1 addtional one for sale besides mine). You are going to spend more money and time on the project to build one.

Both you Matrix guys have sent me PM's! But amazes me that you want to sell!

You Jeff have had your ski for sale since july of 07! Seems to me that your having separation problems and just can't part with your MATRIX!

And Superoo's story is more understandable. Where he lives in New Zealand is more eco-friendly. He has trouble getting hi-octane fuel and can't ride his Matrix with-out upsetting the local populas! (LUV THAT MATRIX SOUND!) Guess there thinking NOISY High powered Diesel speedboats are better for the enviroment!

So which Matrix heads are OK with pump gas (mostly 91 octane in my region, one brand sells 94 octane with ethanol), and which heads need a blend of race fuel?

I expect some Matrix engines would have been 'worked' for higher compression or other tweaks...

Artie would know better, But all but the Polaris one uses domes,which can be had in different compression ratios. I think the latest ones that Sharps made used Standard Hot Set Domes. So you should be able to buy them in different CC chambers.

DrBones, I have no problem with selling my Matrix. Actually I have found most of the people looking at it are tire kickers or have chosen to build there own. For the right price everything is for sale and I feel that $7500 is a fair price.. If it sells great.. If not.. 70mph on a MSX hull is a great thing..

I understand now racer! But I think when she gone you'll realize the mistake! I see you have other Polaris PWC's and can still go 70mph on those! Racing is in your blood! You must like the thrill and challenge of being on the edge every time you climb on each of them!

But the Matrix ride is something different! You've only rode her on fresh water! Never took her out into the Ocean and really experienced what bewitched me the first time I rode one here in the gulf on the waters of her birth!

Sure I've ridden GPR's and Super-Doo's and Kawi 250 (Closest feel to Matrix)! Been on proto-type superboats that would make you sh..t!

None of them gave me the same thrill as that one summer ride back in 06! When got a chance to ride Matrix brought over by my Polaris dealer to test out on Sarasota bay!

The feel was night and day different from my stock MSX! especially in the mid-range when she really took off! Feeling that rush as the speed just kept coming!

I'm really thinking over going after Racer's Matrix!

I just can't get time off to travel up to check it out!

My practice is really busy with lots of personal injury patients that don't like it if their DR just up and leaves!

You don't have to drive.

You can fly up, make your purchase decision, and fly back. You could do it over a weekend, or even in one day.

The ski can get shipped down later, one way or another.
