    First mods a sucess!

Finally got a wet suit and put my mods to the test yesterday!

I was pretty damn proud of myself that everything ran smooth the first ride out and i had no problems, even though it is all bolt on stuff except for the water box mod.

no GPS so i don't have results but i will get today.

Can anyone tell me how accurate the stock tach is? It is was readin 8150 and hit 8200 a few times which i thought may be a little high. I am running everythign in a RIVA stage two except the intercoooler, and I'm running a 14/17r.

back to the water this afternoon with 92 octane and GPS. Filling ride plate holes tonight

    Thanks Jonny K's!

Even though i ripped everything JK's did back off so i could learn to do it myself, they were an extreme help and gave excellent service. the 3 hour drive from columbus is worth it.

8200 rpms is high, but if you pitch the impeller to drop 150 rpms, in a month or so when it gets warmer, you will drop another 150 rpms. It had to be cold on the water yesterday. It was only about 55 here in Columbus... Ron

Congrats on your mods zerowake. If I were you, I would buy the jfizzle intercooler kit from Jerrys store (best bang for the buck intercooler) and either pitch your prop or buy a taller one. You will be amazed at the performance gain from the intercooler. Maybe as much as what youv'e just bolted on! This game is addictive, isn't it? Have FUN.

I would leave the prop alone for now. When it warms up just a bit your rpms will drop a bit and youll be right at 8100

yeah, that sounds right. "suck"eye lake was 57 L temp and 62 air temp today and it ran steady at 8150. A little warmer and i'll be right where i need to be.
