    Oil Change System?

Last year I Bought a Liquivac Oil Change Pump to do my first service myself. The only problem I had was the tube wasn't small enough to fit down the dipstick tube so I adapted it to a smaller one. Then it took many hours to siphon the oil out. This Year I went to do the oil change again and I pumped the Liquivac up and walked away. When I came back the plastic can was crushed from the pressure.
What kind of system is everyone Else using to change their oil, and what size tube are you using to go down the dipstick hole?

I also have the liquivac oil changer but it is for large engines and have no problems. It only took about 15 minutes to get the oil out. Make sure that the engine is warm when you begine to vacume the oil out. As far as the plastic container being crushed??? I think i would have to run mine over with a car to crush it because the plastic is pretty thick. Did you get the one for small engines or large engines. The system for large engines come with narrower tubes so the will fit down the dipstick tube.

Here's the one I bought...It's made by TEMPO

Works pefectly, never collapses, and has a pour spout. Also comes with the skinny tube you need for the 4-tec engine. Make sure before you siphon your oil from the engine that the engine is warm. I always change mine after a long ride. The engine is still warm when I get home from the dock.

Yah, thats a good one but you can find it for way less. In Canada I got mine for $55 CAD under a different brand from a discount auto parts store.

When I was out the other day I found a pump at Advanced auto for $12. I let the engine run for 5min and it only took about 10min to get all the oil out. My arm was a little tired but it was still better then dealing with problems I had with the Liquivac.
