    rxp idling at 2500-2600

ive tried the search for high idle problems but none of the results had anything to do with the subject

my rxp is idling at 2500-2600, after a while of riding it drops to 2300-2400

this is pretty ridiculous compared to the 1800 idle it had before

is there a way to drop it ?

maybe you need to adjust the throttle ....

or check the idle bypass valve

What did you do to it just before it started acting this way? Did you just change out ECUs or TBs? ... Ron

Vacuum leak on the intake manifold.

The TPS could also be damaged from water.

Replace the throtle position sensor that will do it. you will need the new one reset.

+1 check for possible vacuum leaks first. I've seen this happen multiple times and a leak was the case. If thats not the case then take the idle control valve out and clean it before you replace it.
