    Need some advice

Need some info on how to set up my carbs on my 02 gpr1200 after I add the following parts:

    Riva Performance Head
    Fercho's reed setup
    Riva Power Filter Kit
    Solas 14/20
    Oil block off
    Jetworks mod

What I have done so far:

    D Plate
    PPK
    WaveEater clips/couplers
    Free Flow Exhaust
    Protec CDI
    Protec Powervalve controller
    Riva ride plate
    Pump cone
    Stepped sponsons
    Solas 13/19

Any suggestions on rejetting or do I just need to adjust the High and low adjusters. I have no idea what needs to be done. I try not to play with the carbs to much cause that can get ya in big trouble if you do it wrong

I ride mostly at sea level- if that helps.

    110 pilot jets

    1.5 needle and seats

    black 80 gram springs

    120 main jets

    disable accellerator pump

low screws at 7/8 to 1 turn out

    high screws 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 out

This is perfect jetting from Fercho in 2001
It has worked perfect for me; However you ride in colder weather than I do you may want to half size up in that instance

    112.5 pilot jets

    122.5 main jets

They have been to my door twice now SPUD, of course I was at work both times . I pick them up thurs at the local UPS depot. Then they get added to my to-do list. My ski is in pieces right now I need to put new reeds in it. So I might as well add some other mods and join the "BIG BOYS CLUB" and get some big speed numbers, damn watercraft addiction, there should be some sort of support group

Would not hurt to upgrade your fuel delivery to the carbs.

Run dual lines instead of one, especially if you are going to be putting a real load on your boat by racing.

    First Fast GPR

I use to run the same as what you are describing.... about 1 turn out on the highs. Are you running the VF3's?

Putting the VF3's in, I would expect to turn out at least 1/4 turn going to 1 and 1/4 on the highs.

Fercho may have upgraded his recommendations. I had an in depth phone discussion with him in 2001 and he said start at 1 1/2 to me. I have run at 1 1/4 before but I always put it back to 1 1/2 incase conditions change. I added a 1/4 turn to the suggestions for CanadianGPR since he basically rides in a snowsuit.

Fercho did tell me to work in from 1 1/2 and use a tach which I have done. Any below 1 1/4 I don't get as high of rpm's that tells me I'm close to the edge. I have VF-3's and Prok's without outerwears.

I would hate to suggest 3/4 turn and have him ride in 40 degrees and seize.

Yes I do. It makes perfect sense since the RPM's typicaly go up about 100 with the VF3's

I've installed mine, but as of yet have not tested. I expect to turn out my highs 1/4 turn.

    14/20 dynafly for me.

If you check a box stock dynafly with a pitch guage, it is actually a 13/20

    VF3's
    Stock ignition

I've fattened up my highs a 1/4 turn after the addition of the VF3's 3 years ago.
