    rxt-X stock nozzle vs. riva nozzle

    what ring do i need to get the same rpms and performance than the stock X nozzle? i know the stock one its bigger but is short, its better long and small ring like riva?

    As you reduce the ring size from stock to something smaller it will reduce rpm's. Smaller ring = less rpm,slower holeshot and faster top speed. Larger ring = more rpm, quicker holeshot and lower top speed. The rings are used to tune rpm's to a particular prop pitch or when the seasons change for example when summer heat causes rpm's to drop, you can go to a larger ring to regain lost rpm's and avoid removing the prop to have it repitched.

    thanks, but when i use the riva nozzle with 85mm ring (smaller than oem nozzle) its spin/cavitation hard, but when i use 83mm i have the same performance and rpms like the oem nozzle (short 86.5mm).

    i think the oem nozzle have big exit ring but closer exit to the pump cone.
    something like riva nozzle with 85mm and cone spacer.
    i just want to know what nozzle its better at the same rpms, riva (long) or stock one (short)?
