    Free Flow Exhaust- 04 RXP

While having the supercharger rebuilt and out of the way, I want to remove the resonator. I see the RIVA kit is a long piece of pipe with a bend to it on one end, and I read a lot of people just use some stainless steel piping thats a lot cheaper. MY question is, by the looks of it, when the resonator is removed I would just need about a 6 inch trait piece of tubing so why do they make the replacement piece so much longer to replace the whole length??

And just out of curiosity, why is the pipe from the waterbox to the resonator have such a extreme bend and is so tall, I was looking and it could just go straight across pretty much.

the pipe you need is a short straight piece, the longer one with a bend is for rxp-x model
The rubber pipe is high to keep water going back up the exhaust when sitting in the water.

I just installed mine... I got the r/d it is for the p-x. To use the riva rear exhaust I would have had to relocate the intercooler and aside from the r/d being a tad on the expensive side it cleans things up nicely.

I don't know the diameter or length.... I think your just looking for dimensions from the stock ex. hose to the stock exit.

I know M-power on here built his own r/d imitation for very cheap.... he might be able to help???

Those bolts, t-bolts, I know you can get on Ebay.... if anyone knows a better place to buy them I'd like to know as well.

I think you need 4 for the intercooler connections and one for the water box ex. connection.... that would be 5 total.

The r/d clamps I got seem nice and tight/good quality clamps. I'll prob. put just one t-clamp on the water box end just for peace of mind.
