    man drowned at lake

    A man drowned at lake grapevine in texas when his ski quit running...it was a sea-doo ... he tried to swim to shore but did not make it....they are still looking for him...!!! http://www.nbc5i.com/newsarchive/9265652/detail.html

    It was smart enough to wait and float to shore with its floatation devices on it.

    so did his girlfriend, she floated safe too... great case for cell phones in the glovebox or built onto the ski like an On-star.

    I'm sorry to hear anytime anyone dies but that story/post makes me wonder a lot of things:

    Why didn't he stay with the ski?
    If he wanted to swim, why not just hang on the back of the ski and kick?
    Don't want to stay with the ski, why not take your life jacket?

    Then...

    When you make a post about a terrible accident, why bring up brands?
    Especially when the story doesn't even specify a brand.

    not slinging mud at sea-doo..i had the picture in my head of a yellow and blue sea-doo that they were riding..is was sitting on the bank looking lonely with no rider........if you ever get stranded in the middle of the lake with your woman , dont swim away..make good use of the time..lol
