    08 RXP

Hey guys. I just got some prices from dealers and it seems $10,700 is the lowest I could find. OTD no trailer. Thats with the $1k seadoo incentive that ends next wednesday. Seems like a good price to me, any opinions?

I used to have a 2000 GP1200R that was stock and this thing drank fuel like crazy always had extra cans of gas to bring.

Then I bought a Honda R-12X. Never used a full tank, that I remember in a day. Very close, I might of hit the buzzer a couple times.

Any ways Ive read specs comparing the R-12X to the RXP fuel wise and it seems like the RXP uses 25% MORE fuel.

Does anyone have a older GP1200R carbed to compare to how the rxp is on gas?

I swear the GRP would empty in less than 2 hours. And it was slow. We usually ride at maybe 40mph cruising speeds and some hit and go on the throttle but mostly pretty smooth and cruising around. I never WOT my R-12x for more than maybe 30 seconds at a time max. So...

There is a dealer in Michigan that has them for $9000, before taxes and such. Shop around, prices vary greatly.

The $10,700 is Out the Door. Taxes, and all made up fees. Yeah, left over brand new.

Im located in Illinois, south of Chicago. I called a buncj of Wisconsin dealers. Ive always found good deals in wisconsin on previous watercraft.

I was told prices as high as $11,200. OTD

Keep looking. I think you can do better.
I got an X for that at the end of December. 3 months into 09, you should be able to do better than me.

an out the door price is all relative... can't really compare deals when we all have such hugely varying sales tax rates...

that alone can be a 800+ dollar price difference from a no sales tax state to a state with 8-9% sales tax rates

u really need to compare the deal on the final price BEFORE tax to compare apples and apples

Great point. The sell price on my X without any of the tax or other BS was $9499.00.

OK, I we have 7% TAX. The ski wo/ tax would then be $10,025. OTD with all other fees. I always deal OTD because they can make up a bunch of crap inbetween.

This other dealer said they were on sale for $9500. The OTD came to $11,200
Guys any advice on the fuel consumption?

I just found a dealer in Kalamazoo, MI. They have some leftover 06'07'08 RXPs. Any difference to worry about in the years? They are all brand new. Besides colors?
