    Time for a NEW SUBWOOFER...

    This is for our home theater.
    Last one I had was the Velodyne VA1250X,
    paid about $600 for it and loved it, had it almost 10 years and I guess the amp finally gave out.

    Here's the one I'm looking at now, the DLS-4000R, what do you think?
    Avg. retail $600, I can get a good deal grey market for $375

    Hey WW, yeah I love Klipsch, in fact all my other speakers are Klipsch,
    do they still make that one, I can't seem to find that model for sale...
    what did you pay for that one?

    They are nice Muddy. Very crisp/clean sound.I do have Paradyne towers in front.They make amazing speakers as well.

    Hmm, well from what I can read I guess that one has been discontinued.
    That's way too much anyway, I'm looking for something around $600 or less...
