    How much you wanna spend?

    this will get you started,

    Very common stage 1 stuff:

    • 4 inch air intake: do a search (go rear air if your flat water guy)
    • intake grate:
    1) Riva
    2) worx
    3) R&d (2 models)

    • Impellor:15/22r or have stock repitched by a pro.
    • And reduce your nozzle:
    either stock rxp (83mm)
or the riva adjustable kit (80-85mm)

these mods will get you pretty close, if not over 75mph gps

Hi and welcome to GH. I'd start with the intake grate first. Lots of speed to be had there. The stock hookup is awesome, but the grate really holds back the speed on top. There are like 4 different brands out there, each giving solid gains in different conditions. (2-3 mph) I personally went with the Riva design, no issues as of yet, but some have seen issues. Do a search on intake grates, there is a wealth of info on this site. Good riding!

just hit 70.3 gps on a flat lake,

15/22r prop and 4inch kanaflex, basically stock....

plan on changing out the stock intake grate, hoping it will bring out at least another 3mph.

Whatever you decide to do, just make sure you go with a WORX grate.

Why do you say that? Seems like there are different grates for different purposes.

The riva grate seems to have the best top end a fuel efficiency.

While the worx is best for hook up and speed?

Definitely start with a grate...you can notice a difference...the Worx i put on one of my skis has the closest to stock acceleration and a good 2 mph up top..Stocker will always outbeat em outta the hole..oo and fill your rideplate holes if considering more mods

The WORX is the all around best grate. The tiny gain you may get from RIVA on top-speed is not worth sacrificing the acceleration, hook-up, and handling you get with the WORX.
