    Piston ???

I have a #14 cylinder and a size (A) OEM Yamaha piston. will that be okay to use? I know that #14 uses a C piston, but this is what I have.

I used a WSM A size in a #14 cylinder & it lasted 9hrs before the piston skirt snapped off.
First & last time i ever buy WSM, that's just my experience could have been bad luck.
Still i wouldn't risk it for the price of a piston compared to damage it could cause to the rest of the engine if it failed, i got lucky thanks to my EGT setup & shut it down in time.

WSM pistons are junk. That's the piston that went out on me. The other 2 are oem, and they look fine.
