    holes in prop

    how does drilling holes in prop, provide more speed? does it kill bottom end? Is this a goose chase any pics of the prop or goose Thanks

    I have been told about drilling a hole in the prop cone on a outboard motor as it adds speed some how but never holes in the prop??? R88

    I believe this just ventilates the prop and helps the boat get on the plane quicker

    This WILL not work in a pump. It is for props only that have exhaust emitting through the prop. It allows the motor to get up to its powerband quicker. And the holes are no more than 3/8. But this also depends on the motor/prop combo.

    Early April fools ... its a joke.

    Hoss is right, plus even the ventilated props on stern drives are NOT vented on the blades ... only on the hub.
