Is it possible to siphon the gas out the filler hole?
2006 FXHO Cruiser
Last fall I tried siphoning the gas out of the gas tank via the filler hole. I had no luck. I ended up using gasoline stabilizer.
Is there a valve or something that prevents this ?
How do you do this ?

There is no valve but there is a couple bends in the filler tube.

it is possible to get all the gas out with the filler tube in there.. trust me! I've done it twice!!!!!!
It takes a little while, but once it gets started it will go for a LONG time! I had to take my gas tank out.. and then realized I had a full tank of gas!
Get a lot of extra gas tanks ready, and get it started then you just have to watch and wait.
also make sure you have a long enough tube...
i bought a kit setup siphon from auto zone... like $5 or something had a pump to get it started.. cheap thing that i threw away after.
im talking gpr i just realized.

It's definitely possible. Just have to look in the hull and see how the bend of the filler tube goes and just keep finagling the siphon tube around until it gets into the tank, then you should be able to feel it hit the bottom.
After that just give the other end of the tube a little suck and drop the line down in a bucket. Worst that happens is you get a little mouthful of gas. lol It burns a little but just rinse with water. lol

DONít do it thru the filler cap!
I emptied the tank more than once and it is actually very simple.
Remove the seat and look under the steering unit where the tank is.
You will see a black rubber cap. Remove the metal fastener and pour the rubber cap off.
Now you can put a hose in and suck the gas manually or automatically (when you have a pump) out.
If you place a container next to your PWC which is lower than the bottom of your gas tank and you suck on the hose till the gas flows it will keep on flowing as long as you keep the end lower than the bottom of the tank.
