    Motor oil

    Hi
    i have a 05 GTX ltd and I'm abut to change the oil on the motor, are you guys using the Seadoo oil or any other 10w-40 mineral oil ?

    yes you can search this one all day and still be no further ahead. I'm goin with 10w40 valvalean conventional[hell i can't even spell it] i guess synthetic is to slippery, and the motercycle oil is to slippery,other go with the cheap stuff and change it alot. I think if you use mineral oil and keep oil in it your half way there

    If you want to use another oil besides the Sea-Doo oil make sure it is safe for wet clutches. You can use AMSOIL 10w-40 Marine Synthetic Oil there are a bunch of people here that are using it with great success. http://www.amsoil.com/redirect.cgi?z...storefront/wcf You can't use the old Sea-Doo synthetic oil in that engine you will have clutch issues. Spec JASO MA2 will slip the least amount.
