The cost of all those combines is the cost of a new SHO

While I have been tempted to pull the trigger on the sm4 (at one point the Motec as well), I am waiting to see what RD does with the ViPEC. I suspect the Riva will be out of scope as it will likely be more of a consumer ECU with locked down parameters.
While I could be classified as a consumer I have far greater expectations and requirements (I don't just bunny hop across the water and go home ). I am thinking the RD/ViPEC will be around $1,950. This is only speculation on my part.

Regardless, unless the economy (and my job) goes south I will have a new ECU, and more in the works for 2010. Of course, once a new ECU is in hand I may not be using a S/C any longer .

That's expensive . I got mine with all upgrades, harness, sensor and comunications cable for half the price.

why would you need support? If you are experienced in tuning an engine that is all you need...read what the sensors are telling you and tell the ecu what to do...
