    GPR 1200 stock carbs

I believe these carbs are the 46/42 carbs, 46 mm on top and 42 mm on the bottom. Does anyone know if they can be bored out to 48's? Who can do this? I wonder if Island Racing does it, anybody know?

Yeah, they all do that. They all want to know what your doing with your ski. My 98xpl is setup to run with the "don't do that" setup. I've followed everyones guide on how to build a 951, then said screw it. Just cause one thing does not work for someone does not mean it won't work for you. The real idea of finding out what your ski can do is to do your own personal testing. So, I guess I'll email/call these guys and see what their pricing and time frame is going to be. A friend won a set of carbs and we were talking about modifying them to see what they will do over the stockers.

That friend would be me (Thanks Shooter). So, I have another set of carbs to rebuild, and what to do with them now? I know Carl at IR will set them up, everyone seems to be impressed with his work on them... anyone have any thoughts about Shooters suggestion about boring them out? The carbs I'm running now are set up with 110p/120m/1.5ns/95g. What kind of sauce would some of the gurus try if you had a spare set of carbs?

80 gram springs, haha, try that smitty, not sure how it will work on yours, but on my 2000 gpr it works great. Give me a call when you get a chance, got some more info for you.
