    Memorial day

I just wanted to say thanks to all of the men and women who have faught and died to make this country what it is today. My prayers go out to all of those around the world who are currently working to protect what we have all come to take for granted, and a special prayer to the families that are left behind. Parents, please teach your children what today is about. My children always thought it was just another day to go skiing or BBQ.

Even if you don't like the war, you can still help out the troops PERSONALLY.
If you have friends with children or know someone in the service, the following links may be of interest.

here are some links to free stuff for you over there. Not entirely sure if all still work though. Also, I bet if you post your overseas address you would get some care packages! I would send you one, it's a great feeling to get a box of goodies and useful items !!

This was posted on the rubicon jeep forum, on the hydro forum, and last year on here...

My dad served three tours of duty in Vietnam as a B-52 pilot, when the survival rate for one tour was less than 30%. Still one of the bravest men I ever knew.

Throw out a big THANKS to him. I served my time and I just get teary eyed when I hear stories like that. Remember that we have an all voluntery military. Those men and women dont have to be there fighting for our right of freedom. They just want to!

And give the finger to Jane Fonda...

As mark said, you might think whatever you want about the war, but you may never stop respecting the troops.
