gp1300r water leak
hey guys, recently purchased a gp1300r had some water coming into hull tracked it down to exhaust bolts broken down near what i believe may be the cat-con. Put back together only to find water still coming in, have no idea. rode with seat off to try and trace source but could not see where it was leaking from. Any suggestions? While playing with water tank found inside what looks to be 15-20cm diamiter broken rusty metal ring of sourts...

welcome to the forum
Have you backed into a boat ramp, seat off and battery box moved evr to see if it is coming from a location in the rear?
Have you filled the hull also, just a few inches to cover the bottom, tilted the trailer to see if it is leaking from a location near the pump tunnel area?
Has the motor been disasembled lately?
What year is your GP1300R?
Here is a very good informative thread about mystery water leaks on the GPR

if you post up a picture of the ring someone will know what it is
do a search on "water leak" - this has been discussed at length in the past and there are all sorts of good ideas posted

Warm or Cold water? That can also determine a point of reference where to start looking
