Little help in a Boat Sea-Doo Speedster 200 tunning (2008)

I'm from romania and I want to ask about a Boat Sea-Doo Speedster 200 (430 HP) tunning. I do not want to make modifications to the engine, I want to change only the "impeller" and "intake grate" but I do not know what to choose and I want something for the best speed .Thank you

    Sorry for my bad English

    Welcome to the Hulk

I am not a Sea-Doo boat guy, so I cannot answer your questions directly. The jet boat forums on Greenhulk generally have less traffic, and not as many performance focused people, as the PWC forums. Give it some time, and you may get an answer to your question.

In the meantime, read the previous threads in this forum. Others have asked similar questions in the past, so you may find the information you need with some reading.

The type of water you ride in will affect the selection of impeller and intake grate for you. Rougher water is different than smooth water.

the intake grates are 100% NOT good for our boats!
as for impellers that all depends on what else you plant to tune in your boat, I think there was a threads about who did what to their speedsters 200 so you can pull some ideas from there.

btw been to romania couple of times, nice places not so warm welcomes from people sometimes but never-mind that, happens everywhere ..

100% not good. So what do you run?

Below is a link to a chart on the Solas website. It recommends a 14/19R.

If you run in cold water like I do I would tend to agree with their recommendation. If you are running in warm water then I think it would be a bit too much for an unmodified 215 4tec.
With my very minimal mods I had to add +2mm to the pitch and its still not enough. I need a 15/20...

You do not want to change out your intake grate.
