61X motor question
On my stock 61X motor, I only have 1 carb, so I was wondering, if I wanted to put on a stock dual carb setup, what kind of gains (if any) could I expect? Or am I looking at more headaches than it's worth?

I've had COUNTLESS single 44 to twin 44's on my blasters which have the 61X. I can tell you with 1000% assurance, unless your engine is ported.....very little to no gain can be expected. You also take on tunning 2 carbs vs one...more rebuild kits when needed, double the N/S's in the carbs etc etc.
Answer....stock porting.....stay with a single 44

That's kinda the way I was going. Thanks for the input.
One question: what's N/S?
